• Can I see your portfolio?
Of course! You can find the latest samples of my work right here.
• How long have you been a graphic designer.
I have been an artist my entire life, and I have been working as a freelance graphic designer since 2013 after I completing my internship and education. I am currently in school for Animation & VFX and starting to incorporate this phase of my training into my work.
• What is your specialty?
I specialize in print material design and branding. I love helping clients find a design aesthetic that captures their product and identity.
• What kind of design projects interest you?
All kinds! I love a variety of projects, of all different shapes and sizes. I love projects that require the essentials for a brand, especially a logo and business card design. There is no project too big or too small for me!
• What is your graphic design process?
My process is fairly standard. It all begins with the initial consultation, mock-ups, building/designing and then finalizing the project. You, the client, are kept up to date at all times and are an essential part of the process so that you can rest assure you will love the finished product.
• What kind of design software are you familiar with?
Different projects will require different needs and software. Most of the time I work with the Adobe Creative Suite, namely, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Everything I design starts with the classics: pencils, pens, and paper.
• What have you done to improve your knowledge and skills?
I am always learning and trying to better my knowledge on design. I am currently enrolled in the Academy of Art University online to further my education. As well as taking the required curriculum for my degree there, I also make it a point to engage in alternative courses. I am a huge fan of Skillshare.com and am frequently taking new design classes.
• Do you work from home or an office?
I work from my home based office and studio. I am more than happy to meet you on location for meetings and lessons but during the design process, I will not work out of any other place other than my studio.
• What if your schedule is too busy to accept new projects?
I make it a point to network and work closely with other graphic designers I know and trust. If I am at a point where my schedule is keeping me from accepting your project, then I have several graphic designers that I will recommend you to based on your needs.
• How will you communicate and deliver?
I can be reached Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm PST. I am available by phone, email and Skype. Projects will be delivered via email or Dropbox unless otherwise requested by the client.
• What do I, the client, need to provide?
Different projects will require different needs from the client. On a standard, web design project I will need first instruction and any references so I can have a clear picture of what you want as well as any images and copy you will be using (though not entirely necessary). For illustrative jobs, I will just need to hear your idea. See! Different jobs, different needs. If you would like a more accurate answer, please contact me with the form at the bottom of the page with the details of your job and I will respond as soon as possible.
• Will you show me a few samples of ideas for my project so I can get a feel for your work?
No. This is considered "spec work" which I do not do. I will provide you a portfolio of jobs I have completed for your reference. Once you have agreed to hire me for your project, I will send you mock-ups and proofs that we can grow from, but I will not provide any speculative work examples.
• What if I’m not happy with the design?
Of course, you will be happy with your design! It is what I live for! The job will not be finished until you are 100% thrilled with the final product.
• Who owns the design once it’s finished and paid for?
You the client will own what you pay for. Everything is set up and designed so that you have complete ownership over your project. All of my services are developed and tailored for your full ownership. Each project I complete however will be included in my portfolio for promotional use.
• How long does it take for you to deliver the final product?
Again, this depends on what the project is, how large the project is, as well as my schedule. If you would like a more accurate answer, please contact me with the form at the bottom of the page with the details of your job and I will respond as soon as possible.
• What methods of payment are accepted?
I accept cash, credit, check and even Bitcoin!
• What are your payment terms?
I require 25% of the agreed upon quote as a non-refundable down payment. The project will not begin without the initial payment. The remaining 75% is payable upon completion of the project and before any original artwork is supplied to the client.
• Do you have references?
References can and will be supplied upon request.
